This tour has been designed for the traveler eager to explore deep into the Morocco Sahara Desert and who don’t mind driving long hours. You will have an amazing time touring the Desert and Merzouga, you will definitely not feel a drop of boredom. The landscape changes dramatically. Beginning with the fertile Haouz planes of Marrakech and the high Atlas Mountains, to oases and valleys, then to the rocky plateaus and the unbelievable Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Just make sure you bring your camera because you’ll see sites you’ve never seen before; sites you simply couldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams!

Day 1 : Marrakech / Tizi N’tichka / Ouarzazate

After breakfast in your Riad, you’ll travel to Ouarzazate via the dramatic Tizi Ntichka Pass and the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou village was built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Ethami in late 19th century. The Kasbah is recognised as a UNESCO matrimonial historical site and is still a house of many Glaoui family members. After lunch we will continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, where you have the option to visit and see many props used in movies you may already have seen such as Gladiator, and Alexander the Great. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel in Ouarzazate. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate / Dades Valley / Merzouga

After breakfastin in hotel, we drive forward on the road of thousand Kasbahs in order to discover authentic sites of Ouarzazate. We then continue to Dades, a fascinating and cool place, offering a series of Berber villages alongside the road and the aroma that comes from the Roses groves within the valley. Not far from Dades gorges, we’ll cross another enchanting Gorges, called Todgha, the great canyons of Morocco. Then, we continue our trip to Merzouga via Tinejdad, a gateway to the region of Tafilalet . Lunch is to be served in a restaurant near Tinejdad. Continue towards Erfoud, Rissani and arriving Merzouga in the late afternoon. You’ll check-in in the hotel and have a little rest, before you mount your camels for a short journey. On your way on camels humps, you’ll experience the gorgeous view of the sand dunes and the portrait of the sunset. Day 3 : Merzouga / Fes

Your camel guide will wake you up to see the sunrise. Then you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Afterward, arriving back in Merzouga and after breakfast and hot shower in the guesthouse. Then we’ll leave to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges. In the first place, it is carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt. Stopping in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea, before continuing ourMarrakech Chefchaouen Sahara Desert Tours, to Azrou. It is a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest. Then we continue to Ifrane called the French village or the Switzerland of morocco. There will stop for a picture or a drink beforearriving at your accommodation in Fes where you will have dinner and breakfast.

Day 4 : Fes / Fes

Getting lost in Fes is half the fun, but you’ll have an orientation walk this morning to help you get the lay of the land first. Join your local leader to browse markets stalls, meet craftsmen and see beautiful mosques. Look out for the Medersa Bou Inania, one of the city’s coolest buildings, which has recently been restored and is now open to visitors. You’ll also visit the famous tannery and its dye pits (which are also famously stinky, but well worth it), and a ceramic factory where you can see potters working in the traditional way. Then enjoy some free time and maybe check out the exquisite carvings and magnificent tile work at the Medersa el Attarine (near the spice and perfume market). Fes is a shopping heaven for those who want to pick up a souvenir or two. Today is going to be a big day so remember to keep hydrated and pack some snacks.

Day 5 : Fes / Volubilis / Chefchaouen

After breakfast in your accommodation we will drive to Chefchaouen passing by Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco. Moreover, it is known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis. There you will get a chance to see the wonderfully preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city layout. Afterwards, as you travel through the Moroccan countryside. We will pass by the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a photo opportunity. Then lunch in the way and get to the blue city Chafchaouen.

Day 6 : Chefchaouen / Tangier

Drive from Chefchaouen via the green lush of the Rif Mountains toward Tangier, an ancient Phoenician town, located at the point where the waters of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet. The surrounding mountains provide a magnificent backdrop to this intriguing city, the gateway to Africa from Europe, which has always been an international melting pot. Take a tour of Tangier and explore the bustling medina, and city surrounds, and enjoy the stunning vista where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet. After lunch, Continue to a headland about 12km from Tangier, ideal for admiring the Atlantic Ocean. On the way, stop to visit the Hercules Cave. According to legend, this mythical Greek half-god rested here after digging the Strait of Gibraltar. Close by is there restored Roman town of Cotta with ruins of a temple and hot-baths. The tour will include also a stop by Cape Sapartel where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 7 : Tangier / Asilah / Casablanca

After breakfast at the hotel, departure from Tangier to Casablanca via Asilah, similar to Greece, with its whitewashed homes and blue walls and doors. Asilah is an art city with many beautiful murals covering the interior city walls. Lunch to be enjoyed in this beautiful town before we depart towards Casablanca with nice stops. Arrive at your hotel in Casablanca to check in for the night with breakfast.

Day 8 : Casablanca / Marrakech

After breakfast, you will visit the economic capital Casablanca including the impressive Mosque of Hassan Il, opened in 1993. It can accommodate 25,000 worshipers and is one of the only religious sites open to non-Muslims by the beautiful Corniche seaside. Take a moment to catch your breath and to admire the serenity of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue on a short drive through the residential areas of Casablanca to the city center to visit the Mohamed V Square, the Habous quarter and the Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral. After lunch, we will leave towards Marrakech city. Dinner and overnight in a Riad. The tour ends at Marrakech.
